Author Blog Info. There are a lot of places to find my author postings. My Twitter page is linked above. On this page, I will put various postings that seem to make sense on occasion. If I decide to take them down later that means they were pretty bad and a bad idea to post them in the first place.

All Eyes On My Fate
By Jon A Anderson
With danger standing all around,
Millions stalk my every step,
I am unfazed, and stand my ground.
I’ve reached the point of no return,
Those that follow mean me harm,
The onion sack soon shall burn.
My brothers at home all poised in wait,
With hearts imperiled on my fate,
The lions close on me like bait.
Set in a trap, but not the prey.
I step left and right and then press fore,
Only one more standing in my way.
To go all the way and find the goal,
With all intent on stopping me,
My aching legs and burning soul.
My right swings forward as danger falls aside,
My best shot placed with all my might,
Will it hold it’s line or will it go wide?
I stand with outstretched arms that are stunned,
I hear celebration and it’s raucous strains,
And with one strike the cup has been won.

Son
By Jon A Anderson
Founded in darkness,
Delivered in light,
So mighty yet weak,
So red faced and bright.
You were born from a mystery,
Unconceivable joy,
Potential unknown,
Our perfect joy.
You grew in wisdom,
Strength and grace,
A look in the past,
When I saw your face.
We’ll be here behind you,
Support and to guide,
The strength and the wisdom,
Comes from inside.
It’s there by a gift,
That can only be free,
He guides us and keeps us,
And helps us to be,
All that we can,
In the shadow of Him,
If just make the choice,
And let Him in.
My hope and my dream,
Is that you make that choice,
And you will hear clearly,
The call of His voice.
To Guide you through every,
Time good and bad,
No promise of perfect,
Just that He had,
The chance to be free,
Of doubt and fear,
To live life without pain,
Your eyes made clear.
All love to you,
And always will be,
The love of your father,
I hope you will see.
Blocks
by Jon A Anderson
One is placed and then another,
First by me and then my brother,
Ever higher to the sky,
A tower raised, monument set high.
So strong it's built,
But fragile still,
A moment to fall from years have built.
Your hand in mine,
As I watch by your side,
Your hurt too deep,
Time short and passing by.
A frozen moment,
the tower falls,
As do the drops from my eyes.
All seems so far away,
building blocks,
I wish I could turn back the clocks.
